Creative Development Manager

This position is responsible for managing the creative development of customer base communications for Metro PCS, T-Mobile Prepaid/Postpaid and Partnership initiatives managing campaign-level creative execution and providing creative strategy input to ensure efforts meet brand alignment, and overall business case goals and objectives.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for creative development of Metro PCS, T-Mobile Prepaid/Postpaid Base and Partner campaigns (brand stewardship, visual assets and copy strategy for assigned initiatives) and acts as main point of contact on assigned projects including day-to-day contact with Metro Segment Marketing, T-Mobile Loyalty Marketing, agency partners and third party vendors on program execution
  • Collaborates with Metro PCS and T-Mobile Loyalty Marketing on input documents including campaign briefs, customer research and previous test results to initiate creative kickoff and creative rounds with agency to include assigned working team
  • Shares final campaign briefs with Sr. Manager, Creative Development for approval to send to agency
  • Briefs and manages agency as well as third party vendors on execution of all creative initiatives to retain current customers
  • Works with Business Owners, Loyalty Marketing and agency on providing best value estimates and workback schedules
  • Manages visual campaign identities to establish consistent look/tone/feel across multiple communications vehicles to convey Metro PCS and T-Mobile positioning within the marketplace
  • Applies Direct Marketing industry best practices to all creative with the goal of increasing performance and LTV with customer base
  • Manages creative development and execution of cutting edge digital/print channels while partnering with Sr. Manager, Creative Development
  • Meets weekly with Sr. Manager, Creative Development to provide detailed insights on progress of overall campaign development and ongoing business objectives
  • Communicates any high-level directional program/campaign changes to Sr. Manager, Creative Development
  • Ensures campaigns are produced on brand, strategy and time to adhere to budget
  • Troubleshoots and resolves day-to-day issues or problems affecting the creative quality and delivery of campaigns/programs
  • Other Duties/Projects as assigned by management as needed

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6 - 8 years Direct Marketing communications experience (wireless or consumer tech company preferred) or equivalent experience in creative/account management for an agency
  • 3 + years consumer marketing and program management/campaign implementation experience
  • Strong experience of Direct Marketing strategy including:
    • Optimal contact strategy for retaining customers
    • How customer segmentation and targeting affect Direct Response communications
    • Test and learn methodologies
  • Comprehensive understanding of the creative process in order to intelligently and articulately communicate with agency and vendors to translate the business needs into creative solutions
  • Demonstrated experience working with and leveraging consumer research (with internal and external teams) to optimize current and future creative work
  • Successfully manages the workflow assigned to agency and implements creative judgment to control the quality of work produced by agency
  • Provides consolidated creative feedback to agency and makes recommendations to appropriate stakeholders on resolution of any agency issues
Education:
  • BA/BS Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent is required
