MILITARY SKILLS GET ATTENTION AT T-MOBILE.
Tana, a senior project manager at T-Mobile, acquired her most valuable job skills and leadership qualities not at work, but during her military career.
“T-Mobile thrives on change and agility,” said Tana. “In the military, we’re actually specially trained to adapt well and quickly overcome obstacles.”
Working in the human resources department, Tana is responsible for leading critical company-wide projects. When away for National Guard training, she receives compensation through T-Mobile’s Military Leave of Absence program.
“The environment here gives me that fun, collaborative, small-team dynamic yet with the benefits of a larger organization that’s able to support my military commitment.”
Tana is also a leader in T-Mobile’s Military Honor & Support Community.

Home after a nine-month deployment to Northern Iraq, Air National Guard Technical Sergeant Dominic S. knew just who to thank for the tremendous support he received while he was away.
“Everyone stepped up,” said Dominic. “I was the one guy that got mail every week from family, T-Mobile. That gave me something to look forward to.”
On duty in Iraq, Dominic worked on combat construction projects, and at T-Mobile’s Menaul Call Center in Albuquerque, he’s a customer experience manager.
“Support matters in the simplest of ways,” said Dominic. “The little things may seem small to you … but they often carry a huge amount of support."

T-MOBILE CMO HONORED BY WHITE HOUSE VISIT
Prior to joining T-Mobile as a chief marketing officer, Andrew Sherrard served four years in the U.S. Army. Andrew considers his time serving his country a privilege, and he was equally honored to visit the White House to pledge T-Mobile’s support for the Joining Forces initiative.
“I’ve always admired how closely veteran values like respect, integrity, loyalty, and honor resemble our own core company values,” said Andrew, who also serves as executive sponsor of T-Mobile’s Military Honor and Support Community (MHSC). “I couldn’t be prouder that, through this network, we’ve increased awareness in our workplace of veteran culture and the positive impact veterans add to the business.”
