T-Mobile, the fastest growing wireless company in the U.S, is looking for a passionate, innovative, talented Senior Software Engineer in Speech (ASR), Self-Service technologies who wants to create incredible human computer interactions.
Come work with industry leading experts who’ve been designing and implementing automated speech recognition self-service solutions for nearly two decades and help them transform today’s clunky hands-on tech device applications into simplified hands-free solutions.
- Bachelors of Science (or equivalent training/experience) in Computer Science or related fields. Preferably with a specialization in speech recognition or natural language grammar programming.
- Expertise in Contact Center Inbound Voice Technologies
- Expertise in dynamic, server-side, programming with Java. Must be a current version of Java, such as SE 7 or SE8
- Expertise in VoiceXML programming for dynamic Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Systems
- Experience in developing in-line and global speech recognition grammars using GRXML.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software design/development
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Excellent technical problem-solving, design, coding, and testing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in person and in written form
- Expertise working in an Agile Software Development team
- Eclipse, BitBucket, Jenkins, Rally
- Webservices (SOAP, RESTful)
Additional Desired Qualification/Skills:
- Experience in Cloud development
- Experience in Microservice architecture/design
- Experience developing speech applications for Android/iOS
- 3+ years of experience building feature based grammars for speech recognition dialog systems
- 3+ years of experience in Computational Statistics and Data Analysis
- Experience with Avaya IVR and Nuance Voice Recognition
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science
